Hello Parents and Carers,
Welcome back!
I hope your holidays were a relaxing break from school routine and an opportunity to recharge as we head into Term 3. Yesterday, all staff attended a professional development day on Privacy and Record Keeping in Temora. All Catholic Education staff in the Western Region were led through the current professional expectations in line with policy, guidelines and legislation. It was very informative as well as affirming.
The annual satisfaction survey of parents, students and staff will be conducted on behalf of all Catholic schools in the Diocese this term. The surveys are designed to gather feedback from parents, staff and students about our school and will be used to inform school improvement. Responses are confidential and individuals can not be identified. The surveys will be launched via email on 29 July and close on 9 August 2019 using the email addresses supplied to the school. If you do not receive the email please notify us.
A parent information night on Home Reading 'Tips and Tricks" will be held on Thursday 1st August for all parents/carers of children in K-3 @ 6.00pm
We have our annual Ski Trip (optional) this term and final details will be forwarded to parents/carers who indicated an expression of interest last term. Please look out for paper notes in your child’s school bag. Our email system cannot target individual emails.
As we enjoy the colder months of the year the ski slopes offer a fun family day right ‘on our doorstep’. I know many students have already told me of their snow trip over the holidays enjoying tobogganing and snow fights. I can’t wait to get there myself.
Have a great week everyone.
Jannine
